Meet our team

Gunnar Christensen is the owner and president of Direct Insight Services, Inc.  He studied psychology and criminal justice at the University of Nebraska and the University of Texas at Arlington.  He has worked in the private sector in the surveillance and security industry for 25 years with an emphasis on surveillance, fraud detection, and behavior analysis.  Through the capabilities of advanced digital systems integration and electronic surveillance, his company has deployed internet-based video distribution systems for law enforcement and military robotics applications.  Gunnar is a certified K9 handler with training in explosives and narcotics detection and is a licensed investigator in several states.  He also is an all-lines Accredited Claims Adjuster and operates in all 50 states and the Caribbean.

Jacqueline Ristow majored in paralegal studies at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska.  She has many years of experience in client relations, team management, and has a passion for the law.  Jacqueline coordinates with administrative support and the investigative team to develop informative reports. Jacqueline is a certified notary public, as well as a licensed plain clothes investigator in the state of Nebraska.

Kevin Fischer is an Omaha native that has backgrounds in a number  of different areas. He started in the Hospitality Industry when he was 15, spent 8 years in the music industry has owned 2 different restaurants before he was 35. He has a great passion for being creative, loves the Private Investigation field and law  practices.  Besides being a wonderful father to 2 little girls, he is a Chef, an Artist, and loves a cold beer. Kevin is the Creative Director and handles the Video Depositions, Podcasts, and in-house marketing for Direct Insight. He works with other members of the team to create, plan and deliver a strategic vision for clients.

Cassandra Peterson studied Graphic Design at Independence  University  in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She is a designer and entrepreneur at heart and enjoys all types of projects across both web and print mediums. Her wide interest means she is never bored. She likes the hidden symbolism and meanings behind common objects and oftentimes, this fascination will play a role in her designs and  illustrations. She has 4 years of experience in mastering the Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. She is  currently  obtaining her bachelors degree in Graphic Design to extend her knowledge of digital and web based technology. In her free time she likes creating arts  and  crafts with her kids.
